Beautiful resort and golf course. Exceptional service and the room was comfortable. I have stayed at a few resorts in Scottsdale and this one has been my favorite.
The place is fantastic and a great place for meetings. My only complaint is the small shower that we had in our room and the rain shower shower head. Not a lot to do in the area but what they have is worth checking out. I'd suggest the botanical garden and the aquarium.... But there's several other things to do. They do have their own golf course but I don't golf but many people do. Came during July and it was pretty hot but fortunately had a cool week where it was only 105 to 110. I wouldn't recommend a cabana at the pool unless with a larger party and you want to talk. You can reserve chairs but really I believe what you're reserving is a plastic frame chair with a pillow.... The others are metal frame, not as comfortable. I was off season and it may be different during on season. They have a shuttle service to several restaurants via golf cart and if you need to go downtown, they will shuttle you by van wherever you need to go.... You just call for pickup and they are pretty prompt. Overall the service was very good. Always remember to be kind and take care of the people who take care of you. I was somewhat worried about having horrible time during some of the hottest part of the year here, but it turned out to be wonderful. Between the lazy river and the two pools and what was available, a 5-day trip was fantastic.
We had a wonderful vacation. It was extremely family friendly (3 year old and 5 month old). One day we went to the resort, and the rest of the time stayed at the villas. The food was nice, but felt overpriced. My toddler loved the putting green

The Westin Kierland Villas surpassed my expectations. The unit and lockout were large and very well maintained with everything we needed to be comfortable. The variety of pools were great with great service. The location was close to a wide array of dining and shopping options. This ended up being a wonderful place to relax with the family for a few days at the end of an Arizona vacation.
Stayed in the Villas. Have been for work in the years past. First time my wife and I went for a quick getaway. Outdoor TV was great to watch the Denver-New England game followed by our Seahawks getting it done. Drinks and food were above expectations but the cost were in line with Scottsdale.
The Westin Kierland is definitely one of my favorite vacation clubs. Its convenience to shopping, restaurants and entertainment along with their shuttle service. The villas are spacious and beautiful!
We enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite with a view of the pool. Very nice balcony with a great view off the bedroom, however no window in the other room. I love taking a walk over to the pools at the Westin; that's why we stay here.
